Q: How do I decide which planning package is best for me?
A: We offer three wedding planning packages that range from working very closely with our clients from the start of their planning, to providing only logistical support in the final weeks of your engagement. Deciding which package is best for you will ultimately depend on your budget and the type of engagement experience you would like to have! Many of our couples are busy professionals, working full time jobs with other personal commitments outside of work. If your desire is to have a stress free engagement where you can most fully focus on your relationship and prepare for the road ahead, or if you lack the time to plan your wedding, our Full Planning package would be best for you.
Our Partial Planning clients have clear visions about what they want, along with the time to bring it all together, but seek the guidance of a trusted professional along the way to get reassurance they’re doing the right things at the right time. This package is for you if you don’t mind putting in a significant amount of time planning your wedding day and would prefer to do much of the planning yourself.
Event Management is for the couple who will plan their entire wedding themselves, but on the day-of, would much rather be handling some morning mimosas instead of timelines and checklists! Event Management is for tying up the loose ends of your planning and coordinating all final logistics without any of our help finding your venue, securing vendors, keeping track of your planning progress or input on design. We will serve as the main point of contact on your wedding day for all vendors, and will work beforehand to ensure all vendors, wedding party and other wedding VIPs know where they’re supposed to be, when they’re supposed to be there so the entire day runs efficiently and seamlessly, allowing you to remain present and taking in every moment of the day without stressing over whether your vendors arrived on time or getting your decorations set up!
Q: How are you different from other wedding planning companies?
A: We offer a heart-centered and dual approach to the engagement experience, one that provides you with a trusted and certified wedding planner that will help weave together a wedding day that is reflective of your own personal love story, coupled with a certified professional coaching experience to help you focus on taking action towards building a marriage that is authentic and lasting.
We promise a holistic approach that honors your sacred beliefs, strengthens your relationship, and offers an enjoyable engagement season!
Q: How would we work together?
A: We aim to make every interaction with our couples easy. We know you are very limited on time, so we try to be efficient in all of our communications and asks of you. That means incorporating tools and technology that enhances your experience with us and makes the work more manageable and streamlined. You will receive access to an online client portal. We will use a wedding planning software called Aisle Planner, a comprehensive wedding management tool that will provide an all-in-one wedding planning experience. By using this tool, we’ll keep all the details in one centralized location that we can both access! Depending on your package, we will have a number of meetings set aside for in-person conversations about your wedding, but have also taken into consideration the time constraints of our clients and work very well virtually, doing a lot of work together via video or phone calls to accomplish wedding planning tasks.
Q: How many full service wedding clients do you work with each year?
A: We take on a very limited number of full service wedding clients to ensure we have the time and focus to provide the level of attention, quality and creative energy your wedding deserves.
Q: Are you licensed and insured?
A: Yes! Happily Hitched is a licensed and insured business. We are happy to provide our Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) if your wedding venue requires it of your vendors.
Q: I may be interested in booking with you. What’s the process?
A: After your complimentary consultation with us, we’ll put together a contract for you to review that will outline the work we would do together. After receiving your contract, simply sign and pay your initial deposit to make things official and get your wedding date locked in on our calendar!
Q: Do I need to be Christian to work with you?
A: No! While many of our team members are Believers, our heart for Happily Hitched is to equip couples with the tools and resources they need to have thriving, lifelong marriages. For us in particular as Christians, that means a lot of what we believe about marriage is rooted in how we've come to understand God's design for marriage. If you don’t happen to subscribe to the same views, just take what’s applicable to you! We know there are many beliefs different from our own, and that's ok! The end goal is to leave you thinking more about your marriage and the daily steps you'll take to make it work for you and your spouse.
